Before you can update your nonprofit profile, you will need to claim it. To claim your nonprofit profile on the site, please follow the simple steps below:


  1. Sign in or create an account at

  2. Search for your organization in the nonprofit finder and click into your nonprofit’s link on the search results. (Note: If you don’t find your nonprofit, search for your EIN.)

  3. On the nonprofit profile, click the “Claim This Nonprofit” link on the right sidebar and submit your information.


Congratulations! You are now the owner of the profile if you are the first to claim it! If you are not the first to claim the profile, your request will be reviewed by GreatNonprofits staff and you will receive an e-mail within two business days about your approval. If you do not receive an e-mail within two days, please contact us at


Once your claim has been granted, you will be able to edit your profile and add photos, videos, logos, and links. We allow multiple staff members at an organization to have access to a profile, so if you’d like other staff members to have access to editing your profile, please share these instructions with them.
