GreatNonprofits imports nonprofit information from the IRS Business Master File. Nonprofits can claim and manage their profile on the site.

To help nonprofits reach new donors online, we power donations from our nonprofits' profile page. As long as your organization has a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS your donation page will be automatically populated when users click donate from your GreatNonprofits profile page.

GreatNonprofits has two partners for payment processing and check disbursement to nonprofits, Stripe and JustGive. These partners charge fees, which we pass on to the donors and do not profit from. Learn more about our fees here: http://www.about.greatnonprofits.org/fees

A check is sent on the 15th of every month for the previous month’s donations via the US Postal Service to the address listed with the IRS.
